The Single Sisters Date Stone Plate. This is the first piece introduced from the "Date Stone Collection," a series of pieces designed by Moravian artist and craftsman, Cary C. Lewis. The plate commemorates the dedication and completion of the Single Sisters House in 1785 in the Historic Town of Salem in Winston-Salem, NC. Handmade by Hal and Eleanor Pugh, internationally known potters,the first 100 plates are signed and numbered. The Collection is a collaboration between the Moravian Book and Gift Shop and Salem Academy and College.
